On the occasion of the International Nurses’ Day on May 12 , 2004 , a celebration was held at the Emile Lahoud Convention Center in Dbayeh. During the ceremony a new award was founded by the World Health Organization through the regional office in the Middle East , to honor the outstanding nurses in Lebanon.Mrs Sana Victor Kanaan ( Abey ) Hajj won the award of : “ The Best Nurse in Administration and Management“.Sana works at the AUB Medical Center in Beirut as director of the Coronary Care Unit.
