Sunday February 12 , 2005 almost all of Abey families including the Kanaans went to visit His Eminence Patriarch Mar Nasrallah B Sfeir urging him to help realizing the long awaited for Return to Abey of all displaced Christians eversince February 1983 , some 22 years ago . Mass was celebrated at 9:00 A M by the Patriarch then a meeting was held with the group during which speeches were delivered to all Press & Media vehicles pointing out the deplorable condition of Abey which seems to be forgotten by our government . The return to Abey , a dream which will …..( never ) come true …..!!!!
